Remit: Reporting to ELISA Full Committee on web and e-content issues and working on practical projects to achieve the following objectives.
Objectives
- To provide ELISA with an appropriate web presence while creating a sustainable model for continued updating with relevant content
- To producing an online marketing strategy for ELISA
- To ensure that the electronic resources held in Edinburgh library and information services are well-known, used and managed, valued and preserved for the future
- To support the development of electronic content and resources through collaborative efforts
- To disseminate information on research and developments in the field
- To create a knowledge base of expertise in the field and to develop ways in which that expertise can be shared and/or exchanged
- To develop models of best practice
