ELISA Administration

From its beginnings in 1998, ELISA has progressed from an informal working group, to a steering committee, to the well-organised network that exists today. The ELISA Full Committee comprises a representative from all services who pay a subscription, currently 28 in number. Their remit is to to take ownership of all ELISA activity by acting as shareholders, and to guide the direction of ELISA’s development to best represent the interests of member services.  The Business Committee acts as the Full Committee’s executive arm. The practical business of ELISA is energetically carried forward by the Working Groups (see the menu for their dedicated pages).

The current Chair of ELISA is Jim Thompson, Quality Development Manager, Information & Digital Services, City of Edinburgh Council.
